GET INVOLVED

Take Action

We are building a community across Maryland of people committed to moving our mission forward. Our collaborative work meets people where they are and supports them in their learning and engagement with our shared work.

Whether you’re here for the first time, learning new things about brain science, or you’re a long-time supporter who’s ready for the next step in our partnership, we welcome you.

Ways to Take Action

Science

EFC grounds its perspective in science. Understanding the ACE study and its impact is a great first step.

Brain-Building Toolkit

EFC has built a one-stop location for all of us to get the necessary tools to help children thrive. We gathered resources from experts and community partners to give you tips to support children.

Attend a Toolkit Training

Go in depth with our Outreach Coordinator and learn how to leverage the tools in the Brain-Building Toolkit. Plus, get answers to your questions. Sign up for one of the monthly webinars.

Add/Update Your Resource

Do you provide resources and services to families raising infants, children and adolescents? If you're not listed in the resource database, read 211 Maryland's inclusion policy. Then, tell us about your organization and encourage other providers in your community to do the same.

Community Resources

Caring for children is a tough job! Search for resources in your community ready to support you today.

Be a Brain Builder with Vroom

Get actionable tips to make learning part of playtime, bathtime, dinnertime, and any time of day. We've collaborated with Vroom to connect parents to these easy and fun tips.

Get Digital Tools to Share

Send us an email to request a digital postcard you can share with partners and grown-ups, connecting them to the Brain-Building Toolkit and Vroom.

Impact Policy

Our state and local policies shape the environments in which our children live, learn and play. Every policy we set should promote healthy development and reduce unnecessary burdens on children and the adults in their lives.

Join The Collaborative

We welcome you, as an individual, or representing a business, organization or agency to join our collective effort. Share your email so we can work together on policies that prevent, reduce and heal trauma.
